Who We Are

Steve Does Visuals is an independent motion graphics and live event production studio operated by Steve LaClair, based in Cleveland, Ohio. Contact: laclair@stevedoesvisuals.com

What We Collect

When you use the contact form, we collect your email address, inquiry type, and message content.

When you use the quote request form, we collect your name, email address, and project details including organization, referral source, project description, and related project fields you choose to submit (such as timeline, venue, screens/outputs, audience size, and budget range).

Form submissions are processed through Formspree (formspree.io). See their privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics which collects anonymous traffic data — page views, general location, and device type. No personal information is collected or stored through Cloudflare Analytics.

This site also uses Microsoft Clarity on most pages (excluding the contact and quote forms) to understand how visitors interact with content through heatmaps and session data. Clarity does not record form inputs on this site. See Microsoft's privacy policy at privacy.microsoft.com

Spam Protection

Contact and quote forms use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection. Turnstile analyzes browser signals to verify human interaction. No personal data is stored by Turnstile. See Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy

Fonts

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Your IP address may be transmitted to Google as part of this request. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy

Hosting & Infrastructure

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare acts as a data processor for site delivery and security. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy

Client Access Portal

The Client Access section is password-protected using a 30-day access cookie (sdv_access). The cookie stores a hashed access token, not the password itself. No permanent account is created. Any information submitted through the Client Access portal is processed through Formspree as described above.

Data Retention

Form submissions are retained in Formspree for up to 30 days on the current plan. We do not maintain additional copies of submitted data beyond email correspondence.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data you have submitted. To make a request, email laclair@stevedoesvisuals.com

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

Steve Does Visuals does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated date at the top of this page will reflect the revision.
